Privacy Policy

This page describes what our privacy notice will cover once it is finalized. It is not yet complete, and several of the policy details below have not been set.

  1. 1. How information is used and who can access it

Application and referral records are protected by role-based access controls enforced in the database itself: only accounts marked as active staff can read them, and that check runs on every single request, not just at login.

  2. 2. How information may be shared

Opting out of photography or media never affects your eligibility for assistance, events, or services.

We make reasonable efforts to honor all photography and media opt-out requests. If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, please notify event staff when you arrive. We take precautions to avoid capturing or publishing images of anyone who has opted out, but we cannot guarantee that such images will never appear incidentally in a large-group or public-event photograph.

As a default practice, children are never individually identified by full name in any photo we publish.

  3. 3. Email and communication practices

This site's systems do not currently send application details by ordinary email — no part of this project sends any email at all yet.

  4. 4. Access logging and incident response

Staff access to application documents is logged automatically: every time a staff member views a document, that event is recorded, including who viewed it and when.
